Mt Albert Islamic Centre was inaugurated on 2 January 2009 for the purpose of conducting Jummah prayers. We conduct weekly prayers starting at 1.15pm in Summer. Our goal is to establish an Islamic Centre for the Mt Albert area where we could establish Five time prayers, conduct Qur’an Madrasa, Arabic, Tajweed, Hifl and Adult classes. Currently we are conducting Friday prayers at the Senior Citizen’s Hall (Wairere Avenue, by the Rocket Park, Mt Albert). We are also conducting "Arabic to Understand Qur'an" classes once a week at the same venue.
